I accidentally found a ComiConn today about 3 miles away from my house. It was being held in a hotel next to my local Target, and I was so so happy. I just happened to be wearing my TARDIS t shirt today and it was almost over so the people at the admissions booth gave me a huge discount on my ticket. It was pretty small, but a lot of fun! I wish I was more into actual comics because that was the main focus there, but there were definitely some sci fi nerds as well, they let me know that they enjoyed my t shirt. I wasn’t there for very long (it was pretty small), but I really liked it. It was my first convention of any kind and I really, really enjoyed it.

But next time I go to a convention, I gotta make sure there’s some more sci fi going on, just so I have more to talk about, haha.
