You guys I’m just gonna put it out there

I just sat 4 feet away from Jason Sudeikis and made awkward eye contact with him (and then tried for the rest of the night to make eye contact again). I say 15 feet away from PAUL RUDD and James Woods and Emma Stone and 20 feet away from DAVID WAIN and JASON REITMAN. This world is really my entertainment oyster. The reading of “The Apartment” was wonderful, I had an amazing time with Abbey (I’m glad we had the commitment to stand in line that long to get in the front row). It was a really great cast for The Apartment, actually. Paul Rudd was of course a perfect C.C. Baxter, and Tom Cavanagh was a delight. Paul Rudd was bearded (which is my favorite Paul Rudd) and it was wonderful. David Wain’s energy was infectious and Jason Sudeikis’s voice fit the time period perfectly. It was wonderful seeing my favorite movie read by some of my favorite actors. And Jason Reitman organized the whole thing! I ADORE him! He read the stage directions. Paul Rudd played Baxter, Emma Stone played Fran, Jason Sudeikis played Kirkeby, James Woods played Sheldrake, Tom Cavanagh played Dobisch and David Wain played Dr. Dreyfuss. They were all so great. AND! You guys, I have once again made an entertainment prediction that came true. I said to Abbey when we sat down that it would be crazy is Lena Dunham (who was scheduled to play Sylvia) didn’t actually do the reading and I was talking about other people it could be. Well, Jason Reitman comes out and announces that in fact Lena Dunham couldn’t make it to the reading. I. Write. My. Own. Entertainment. Tonight was just all around fantastic and was a great way to top off the week
